APPEALING TO GLOBAL ORGANISATIONS
Expleo is a global company delivering engineering, technology and consulting services to over 30 regions. They partner with leading organisations to guide them through business transformation, help them achieve operational excellence and future-proof their business.
With the rapidly approaching deadline of 2027 for critical SAP S/4HANA migration, Expleo looked to develop a marketing campaign strategy that positioned four key services to large organisations that are embarking on this SAP transformation journey.
Expleo engaged us to create a framework and campaign using the strategic positioning put together by consultants, Magnus. A successful campaign would enable CIOs in businesses around the world to see Expleo as the organisation to help them through SAP transformation.

INTRODUCING A CORE THEME
Through our initial strategy positioning work, we were able to plan a clear customer journey for Expleo’s clients, with an overarching theme of ‘confidence’. Our creative solution positioned Expleo centrally and as an expert in SAP S/4HANA.
To help communicate this, we developed the ‘#SAPnav’ concept, introducing a new visual and verbal language inspired by GPS and satellite navigation, the trusted authority on navigating complicated journeys with effortless clear and simple instructions.

From issuing the brief for our campaign to launch and tracking, Orangery worked with us every step of the way within the resource parameters we set them from the outset. DEFINING A JOURNEY
We created a framework that became the foundation for all assets. This introduced a supporting structure around the entire campaign, from the value proposition down to how content should be written to align with the #SAPnav’s goals.
Central to the campaign was the travel guide, which takes the client on a journey to S/4HANA. As a free download and a direct mail piece, the guide delivers top-line benefits of the ‘destination’, with travel alerts along the way – positioning Expleo as the guiding expert.

ESSENTIAL EXTRAS
An additional component of the campaign was the journey map – a visual guide and a conversation starter helping clients understand where they are on their journey and how, where and when Expleo can help them.
We produced physical and digital campaign assets, designed to create awareness and drive engagement. Solutions brochures, two-pagers and Q&amp;As were created to appeal to clients who favoured more traditional marketing materials. A pitch deck was built to enable sales teams to tell the story and help clients visualise their own journey.
An engaging explainer video was created for use across Expleo&#8217;s digital touch-points. Helping to tell the story to the key audience of how Expleo is their essential guide for the journey to SAP S/4HANA digital transformation.

THE FINAL DESTINATION
This bold and vibrant campaign challenged and disrupted the channels that Expleo and others in their sector had become used to. By gamifying the transformation process and creating a compelling customer journey, engagement was sky-high, and hundreds of clients across the world successfully started their transition to S/4HANA and had fun doing so.
