BHA came to us with a challenge, to redesign their website to become simpler and more user-friendly, following feedback gathered from the public. We came on board creating a refreshed user experience and interface design, placing the user at the heart of the design process. The new look is more clean and contemporary and improvements to the navigation make it much easier to find key information for the public as well as the racing industry and participants.

Data visualisation

As well as updates to the design and navigation, a key part of the refresh was addressing the data visualisation throughout the site. We made huge improvements in this area, including live fixture updates for those seeking the latest news in real time, as well as an easy-to-view interactive racing data and statistics page.

Developing the brand

As well as the new website we were also tasked with creating refreshed brand guidelines including image treatments and typographic style. Brochure designs and annual reports were also produced, all in keeping with the BHA’s new, fresh and contemporary look and feel.

They keep coming back

Since the launch of the new website, Orangery has been tasked with a number of other digital projects from BHA, pushing the brand forward. These include a progressive web app to share key brand messages and BHA’s strategic objectives internally, as well as a microsite to share BHA’s Integrity Education programme with an interactive quiz.
