Talking to the right audience
Expleo is a global leader in engineering, technology, and consulting services, guiding organisations through business transformation across over 30 regions. Recognising the need to amplify their impact in the life sciences sector, Expleo partnered with us to create a compelling marketing campaign that would resonate with senior decision-makers across pharma, biotech, medical devices, and chemicals.
Using the strategic positioning developed by Magnus Consulting, we crafted creative and messaging that speaks directly to the challenges and aspirations of life sciences leaders, establishing Expleo as the trusted partner for transformation in this critical industry.

02. challenge
Expleo needed to reposition their existing life sciences business, expand their customer base, and attract more ‘right fit’ clients. The goal of the campaign was to highlight Expleo’s deep expertise within pharma, biotech, medical devices, and chemicals while conveying their role as a trusted partner for accelerating success.
Building on their new positioning, we set out to create a marketing campaign that would catch the attention of senior decision-makers and communicate how Expleo could drive transformation in life sciences.
The value proposition and manifesto from the strategic positioning guided the development of the creative and messaging. Building upon Expleo’s positioning as the driving force behind transformation in life sciences. At the heart of our concept is the ‘catalyst’. A universally understood symbol of change in this field, representing Expleo’s role in accelerating progress for life sciences organisations.
To visually capture this idea, we designed a hero image of a catalyst atom fusing with another atom, symbolising Expleo’s collaborative approach to driving transformation. This visual is highly adaptable, enabling the creation of illustrations and icons. These clearly represent various verticals and concepts, simplifying the communication of complex ideas across different areas.

We created a striking hero animation using 3D visuals of the catalyst concept to powerfully convey Expleo’s transformative role in life sciences. The animation spotlighted key verticals where Expleo drives impact, with each vertical represented by its own dynamic illustration composed of interconnected atoms. Reinforcing the theme of transformation. From this, we developed social media assets and additional posts to extend the messaging across platforms.
Brochure and Collateral
The main brochure became the centrepiece of the campaign. Crafted using a blend of in-depth research, provided documentation and interviews with Expleo’s subject matter experts. The final content directly addressed the key challenges and solutions for senior decision-makers in life sciences. It delivered insightful, targeted messaging tailored to their needs.

It was a pleasure collaborating with Orangery on this project. From the very beginning, we worked really well together as we explored the best strategies for the campaign and delved into the core requirements. As the project progressed, it was inspiring to see their creativity and innovative ideas bring the research to life. The outcome not only enhances our brand and market positioning but is also a project I am proud to have been a part of. Expanding on the brochure, we created a full suite of materials including a landing page, sales deck, portfolio sheet, case studies, and thematic sheets. These assets formed crucial touchpoints to guide clients through Expleo’s transformation journey. To further strengthen the campaign, we developed social media banners, email signatures, and Teams backgrounds, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all channels.
Accelerating success
The campaign was not only delivered on time and within budget, but also exceeded expectations with strong buy-in from internal stakeholders. The versatility of the toolkit empowers the Expleo team to continuously evolve and adapt the campaign. Ensuring it remains impactful and relevant in the long term. With its forward-thinking design and flexibility, the campaign is set to accelerate Expleo’s success in life sciences, driving growth, and innovation far into the future.
