Delancey is a leading UK Real Estate investment and development advisor. With over 25 years in business, Delancey has a long established history of creating value from property through innovative strategies, partnerships and decades of industry relationships and experience.

They came to us with the challenge of refreshing their 11 year old website. The industry and company had since moved on and they needed a real estate website that better projected their sense of openness, achievements and approach to responsible investments.

The brief

The brief was to overhaul the Delancey web experience with a new visual design, user experience, functionality and capabilities, and a new content management system.

Delancey’s ambition was to create a contemporary property investor website design that, while on par with their industry peers, reflected their identity as ‘not a typical property investor’

What we did

To bring a diverse mix of experience and talent to deliver this project, we collaborated with their existing agency Cyon – as their digital partner.

From initial briefing to the final site launch we made sure all of our decisions were thoughtful and considered. This included competitor benchmarking, SEO audit and Analytics review, User Research, Hosting. We utilised their stunning portfolio of property imagery to create a visual and user-friendly Property investor website design.

Website features

Alongside creating a beautifully crafted website we wanted to ensure functionality was just as paramount as form, so throughout the site we ensured it was user-friendly, optimized and quicker. The new website is built in WordPress, the CMS making it easy for the internal team to update going forward.

It is designed for mobile first, with a clear and simple navigation. The pages have been streamlined with clearer messaging and more succinct copy, with less emphasis on the news feed.

Google analytics and an SEO plug-in were added to track user engagement.

The result

We created a contemporary property investor website design that shows Delancey as ‘not a typical property investor’. This being their main goal along with total modernisation of the user experience and demonstration of their values.

The project was turned around at speed to meet the clients tight deadline. The site was delivered on time and budget to an extremely happy client.
