<p>The British Horseracing Authority is responsible for the governance, administration and regulation of horseracing in the UK. The BHA also leads the development and growth of racing and prioritises the health and welfare of the sport’s participants. Their vision is to build a brighter future for the sport.</p>
<p>We have been a strategic partner to the BHA for more than twelve years, starting our relationship with a rebranding and web development project to align BHA’s identity with its vision. Our collaboration has since extended to various facets of their business, and brands under the BHA umbrella.</p>

<h2><span class="heading-3">A USER-CENTRIC DESIGN</span></h2>
<p>The BHA challenged us to redevelop their website for a more user-friendly experience, and a more user-centric design with a clean, contemporary look. Our own enhancements included improved navigation, dynamic data visualisations, live fixture updates, and an interactive racing data page.</p>
<p>In addition to the website overhaul, we took on the challenge of updating the brand guidelines, incorporating new image treatments and typographic styles. We extended this fresh and contemporary aesthetic to the design of brochures and annual reports for the BHA.</p>

<h2><span class="heading-3">CONTINUING THE BRAND EVOLUTION</span></h2>
<p>Since the launch of the new website, Orangery has been tasked with a number of other projects from the BHA, pushing the brand forward. These include internal branding projects and websites, web apps and printed materials for various internal initiatives, such as Diversity in Racing and Racing with Pride.</p>

<p><span class="heading-3">TRUSTED BY THE RACING COMMUNITY</span></p>
<p>As a valued partner to the BHA, we&#8217;ve had the pleasure of collaborating with the various brands under their organisational umbrella. Select highlights include redesigning the <a href="https://britishchampionsseries.com/">British Champions Series</a> and <a href="https://careersinracing.com/">Careers in Racing</a> websites, and creating an event platform for <a href="https://nationalracehorseweek.uk/">National Racehorse Week</a>.</p>
<p>We leveraged our unique understanding of the BHA’s vision and the technical requirements and capabilities of their data feeds and combined it with our expertise in branding and digital to deliver dynamic websites and brands for their partners. We are thrilled to be so highly recommended by the BHA and are grateful for our place in the British horse racing community.</p>

<p>Orangery were a superb team to work with across the board when it came to bringing the Mane Match idea to life. The clean design and creative gameplay has given us exactly the platform we wanted to promote the world’s most famous steeplechase in a new, interactive way.</p>
